The IPA consists of 10 community-based providers of mental health and substance use disorder services in New York City licensed under Article 31 (mental health) and Article 32 (substance use) of the New York State Mental Hygiene Law.
Supporting the IPA are additional network and affiliate providers and organizations, including care management, recovery services, health homes, DSRIP PPSs, residential programs, transitional shelters, peer support, food pantries, HIV/AIDS programs, harm reduction programs, primary care medical services, and others. Together, we are known as a Behavioral Health Care Collaborative (BHCC). Our relationships, as well as the systems we are putting in place, will help us care for our patients along the continuum of care, while addressing social determinants of health.
